One of the basic rules of outdoor dining is that when you’re craving for a particular type of food, you should find the name of the food in the formal name of the restaurant. There are exceptions, of course, such as McDonald’s which isn’t named “McDonald’s Burgers”, but at least the brand should be firmly associated with the type of food you’re looking for.
So, if you’re looking for a good steak, you want a restaurant that calls itself a steakhouse. The same goes for pizza and pasta, burgers, Tex-Mex, and ice cream.
Of course, when you’re in the mood for cheesecake, it certainly makes sense to visit your nearest Cheesecake Factory. In this place, you also find the widest range of food items that you’d ever find in a fast-food menu. Cheesecake Factory will just overwhelm you with its range of choices available.
But which cheesecake should you pick? Of course, you can always just order what you want, or think you want. If you’re a newbie, though, you may want to first try the following cheesecakes to make sure you’re getting something truly delicious:
The Original Cheesecake
We just have to put this first on the list, because it’s the classic cheesecake that the place offers. It’s safe to say that you’ll probably just judge all the other cheesecakes here on how well they compare to the Original.
Yes, it’s certainly a rather plain cheesecake. It’s quite creamy with the sour cream topping along with the graham cracker crust. But the taste of it isn’t plain at all. This is a classic for a reason. Plenty of people love it, and hardly anyone finds anything negative to say about it. The sour cream topping is absolutely perfect, as it’s not too rich or too heavy.
Basically, it’s like ordering your basic pepperoni pizza, and then you get the absolutely best pepperoni pizza ever. No other plain cheesecake can compare, because it’s not really plain at all.
Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake
According to Cheesecake Factory, this is their most popular flavor for the last 40 years or so. It’s basically the Original Cheesecake, which is just perfect, and then they added the fresh strawberry, which somehow makes it even better.
It’s the Original Cheesecake on steroids, as the strawberries really enhance things up. You might compare the addition of the strawberries to the addition of bacon to a classic cheeseburger. No matter how great that cheeseburger was, it becomes even better with bacon. No wonder this is so popular.
We still think you should try the Original Cheesecake first, just for comparison with this one. Once you get a taste of this, it might be your new favorite.
Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple
Who’s Adam? A quick check at Google told us about Adam Lomas, who’s the Executive Kitchen Manager at The Cheesecake Factory in Clearwater, Florida. We somewhat doubted if he was the guy who came up with this, but that doesn’t really matter, does it?
What really matters is that if you’re looking for a peanut butter cup cheesecake version, this is it. It comes with caramel, peanut butter, Butterfingers, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and the resulting blend comes out just right. You have the great cheesecake packed with the Reese’s Cups, and that’s terrific. The peanut butter ganache on top packs a wallop, while the bits of Butterfinger make everything work out nicely.
Mango Key Lime Cheesecake
Here you have the key lime cheesecake with the vanilla macaroon coconut crust, with the mango mousse on top. Even if you don’t like coconut flavor, you’ll most likely still like this. The mango mousse and that smooth filling just matches perfectly. Then you get that sour finish that just makes you want to get another bite.
Now that you have this list, go and order an actual meal from the Cheesecake Factory. At least now, you have a better idea of what to get for dessert. But if you just came here for the cheesecake, that’s not a problem at all!
