If you’re a seafood lover like me, you probably get weak in the knees at the thought of Red Lobster. The delicious aroma of their Cheddar Bay biscuits alone is enough to make my mouth water. But there’s one menu item that reigns supreme in my heart: Red Lobster’s Endless Shrimp. But it wasn’t always available on their menu all year round.
Until recently.
A few weeks ago Red Lobster the best announcement ever: They’ve made Endless Shrimp a permanent fixture on their menu, priced at just $20.
That’s right—no longer will you have to wait anxiously for the promotion to roll around once a year. You can satisfy your shrimp cravings anytime you please.
The Best Deal in Town
When dining out, price is often a major consideration. That’s what makes Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster the ultimate steal. For a mere $20, you can indulge in as much shrimp as your heart desires. To put it into perspective, let’s consider the two-entree combo platter, which comes with two sides.
If you were to choose two shrimp entrees from the menu, you would already be paying $25.79 at my nearest Red Lobster. However, this price only includes two servings of shrimp, and you won’t be able to enjoy additional helpings. Moreover, opting for premium sides like Creamy Lobster Mashed Potatoes can increase the price by as much as $6.50.
With Endless Shrimp, the possibilities are endless (pun intended). You can keep ordering shrimp dishes, one plate at a time, and each serving comes with your choice of side. To keep you in the shrimp-eating rhythm, servers often ask for your next order before you’ve even finished your current dish, so there’s no interruption in your enjoyment.
A Variety of Shrimp Delights
Of course, a deal is only as good as the options it offers. Fortunately, with Endless Shrimp, you have access to a wide array of Red Lobster’s greatest shrimp hits. The choices include:
- Garlic Shrimp Scampi – Shrimp broiled in a delectable garlic butter sauce (a must-try!)
- Garlic Grilled Shrimp Skewer – Succulent grilled shrimp skewer glazed with garlic butter, served over rice
- Shrimp Linguini Alfredo – A heavenly combination of shrimp and linguini pasta tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce
- Coconut Shrimp – Fried shrimp coated with a crispy coconut crust, served with piña colada sauce for a tropical twist
- Walt’s Favorite Shrimp – Classic breaded and fried shrimp served with tangy cocktail sauce—a timeless favorite
The only exclusion from the daily Endless Shrimp menu is popcorn shrimp. But fear not, as it is essentially a miniature version of Walt’s Favorite shrimp, so you’re not missing out on anything extraordinary.
Keeping Endless Shrimp Exciting
One of the charms of Endless Shrimp was its limited availability, usually during the fall season. But what made it truly exciting were the special shrimp dishes that were introduced exclusively for the promotion, such as the tantalizing Nashville Hot Shrimp or the mouthwatering Parmesan-Bacon Shrimp Scampi.
Although not officially confirmed, it is likely that Red Lobster will continue to offer seasonal releases as part of the Endless Shrimp promotion to keep things fresh and exhilarating. Patty Trevino, the chief marketing officer at Red Lobster, hinted in a press release that more Endless Shrimp news might be in store for us later this year.
In the meantime, the $20 all-you-can-eat Endless Shrimp deal remains one of the best options available among chain restaurants. Who knows, maybe one day Red Lobster will even introduce an Endless Lobster promotion—I’d be first in line for that! Until then, head over to Red Lobster and enjoy the endless delight of shrimp to your heart’s content.
