About Famous Toastery
This is where the chain of breakfast-centric restaurants, Famous Toastery, comes in to the rescue. The chain is well-known, even well-loved by its loyal customers, for its wide range of classic breakfast fare with its contemporary touches, as well as for the fast service even during rush hours. The affordable Famous Toastery prices are also part of the chain’s appeal.
History
In 2005, Brian Burchill and Robert Maynard opened the first Famous Toastery in Huntersville, North Carolina in a small house that they turned into their breakfast-centric spot. New about the fun atmosphere, reasonable prices and freshly-made delicious breakfasts coupled with the fast service in the restaurant soon made it among the top dining spots in the area.
Soon, three new locations were opened to cater to the increasing clamor among diners for the best avocado omelets and portabella mushroom benedicts, among other menu items. In 2013, the company decided to open the restaurant to franchising, thus, opening up more and more locations in several states.
What They’re Famous For
Famous Toastery is known for its motto of “every server is your server”. Basically, each table of diners can expect fast, friendly and courteous service from the all members of the wait staff, thus, ensuring that every reasonable dining need can be addressed. You and your group, for example, can order your food from any of the servers instead of waiting for an assigned server to be free for it.
The result: You can get your breakfast in as fast as five minutes! You don’t have to skip on the most important meal of the day just because you became impatient for your food and drinks to be delivered to your table.
Aside from the fast service, Famous Toastery restaurants are also known for the delicious quality of their breakfast items, which are available for the entire time the places are open for business. Diners, after all, can crave for breakfast items even in the middle of the lunch and dinner hours.
The menu items can satisfy just about every craving for breakfast food. The choices include cornbread with marmalade; egg sandwiches with various fillings; pancakes with several choices in toppings including fresh fruits and sauces; and French toast, among others. The seasonal special menu is also popular because of the wide variety of choices depending on the season, as well as the optimum freshness of the ingredients.
Why Eat Here
As soon as you enter a Famous Toastery restaurant, your first observation will be the warm atmosphere and fun vibe of the place. Diners include individuals on their own, groups of friends, and families enjoying their delicious, nutritious and filling breakfasts – truly, a place where the community appears to enjoy gathering for the most important meal of the day.
The facilities and amenities are well-maintained, too, a must in any dining establishment where hundreds of people come for breakfast most hours of the day and night. The tables and chairs in the main dining area are also kept clean as soon as a group of diners leave their spots so seeing dirty dishes isn’t an issue in the restaurants.
Of course, the food and drinks are always the highlight of any reputable dining place and the Famous Toastery restaurants definitely deliver on the delicious fare. The menu selection includes corned beef hash in two versions, regular and crispy, coupled with a generous portion of potatoes, two eggs and hollandaise sauce; eggs Benedict with flavorful seasoned breakfast potatoes; and the famous avocado omelet. The complimentary coffee also comes with the complimentary biscuit and corn bread with sausage gravy.
Let’s face it – you can become full just on the complimentary coffee, corn bread and biscuits! But even before you become halfway full, your order will arrive quickly, usually within five minutes even when the restaurant’s nearly full on a breakfast rush hour. Your stomach will definitely have ample room for the savory breakfast food, even for dessert.
And there’s the chain’s trademark “every server is your server” approach. You will find that as many as four servers will be attending to your needs – one to take your food and drinks order, one to bring your food and drinks, one to fill your beverages and clear your plates, and one to take your payment. You may even have the restaurant manager asking about your dining experience!
Many of the Famous Toastery restaurants also offer free Wi-Fi and free parking during certain hours. A few of them even have enclosed patios designed for additional seating and al fresco (i.e., café seating) in warmer weather.
