History
Ivan Utrera, the founder and president of Rodizio Grill grew up enjoying the pleasures of the traditional churrasco style of dining where in gauchos paraded skewers of grilled meat for diners to partake. Along with the grilled meat, which was cooked over an open fire, diners also feasted on Brazilian salads and side dishes while finishing the meal with authentic homemade desserts.
His love for the churrasco was translated into the development of the Rodizio Grill concept in 1995. Along with his mother, he continues to develop new recipes, many of which are based on old family recipes, for the restaurant chain. He has developed a wide range of dishes including succulent rotisserie grilled meats, delicious salads, and scrumptious desserts.
What It’s Famous For
Rodizio Grill is, of course, most famous for the wide range of quality cuts of meat grilled over an open fire, skewered in metal rods, and carved by the table upon the customer’s request. The meats can include cuts of beef, pork and chicken, which are as juicy, succulent and flavorful on the mouth as they are mouthwatering on the skewer.
Aside from the meats, the chain also offers sides like fried potatoes, black beans, and collard greens, among others.
Why Eat Here
If you want to experience authentic Brazilian cuisine, your best bet is the Rodizio Grill. You can choose the Full Rodizio, which means your plate will be full of the grilled meats, gourmet salads and sides from the bar, and the glazed pineapple. Your meat-loving self will love the flavorful rotisserie grilled meats served and carved by your table, a treat considering that you have the chance to ogle the meats before devouring them.
With its experienced gauchos serving the meats, you will feel like a pampered customer here. You don’t have to worry about the meats being cold since the gauchos know exactly how to keep them still sizzling, which means the texture and tastes are just perfect.
